Membership List
Coda Club is for people who enjoy listening to live music in a relaxed atmosphere. It is also for those who enjoy a drink and to have a dance and some fun with their friends.

Although it is a club it is open to members and non members alike. Everyone is welcome.

Coda Club is always held in the two back function rooms of the Poppleton Community Centre with around tables seating arrangement. Start time is normally 8.00pm and finish around 11.30-11.45pm.

{Les Vaughan on trumpet}
Coda Club was formed as result of an idea by Di and Dave Bird, Jane and Les Vaughan and Sara and Rob Holliday following a successful musical fund raising event.

Most of the proceeds go towards Poppleton Community Centre but occasionally we donate some of the proceeds to other charities.

The format is normally:

A head line act such as the Al Morrison experience

Some local musical talent performing such as Alison Herbert, Trak 29, Sam Holliday, The Erica Reed Sax Quartet and the Poppleton Belles

The resident rock band Inchworm to which everyone can dance.

Inchworm are an ageing rockband reliving their youth. They are made up of Les Vaughan (rythm guitar), Mike Penrice (bass guitar), Bob Adams (lead guitar) and Dave Bird (lead singer), Jackie Jones who plays keyboard and violin (but not at the same time) and Jon Ward (drimmer).

Inchworm have a wide repertoire - or so their spouses say - including numbers from the Kinks, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Chris Farlowe, Eric Clapton, Oasis etc

Inchworm have done a lot in their short history, having played at York Fire Station and the Poppleton Tithe Barn and various parties. They are available for the occasional booking.
