Meeting time:
6.15
–
7.30pm on a Wednesday |
Uniform:
At
first either beaver uniform or dark trousers + cub jumper
(no necker) or plain jumper . When your son comes up for
investment he will need: green cub sweatshirt, pale blue
necker, dark blue combat trousers, black trainers or
shoes. In hot weather there is a green cub polo shirt.
|
Badges:
You get
your first badge when you are invested. The cub handbook
has a list of all the badges that you can work towards.
The whole cub pack sometimes works towards a badge
together . For more details you need to look on the
internet at www.scoutbase.org.uk . If you are
interested in working towards a badge or think that you
already may qualify for one (e.g. you have a recognized
first aid qualification) please see a leader at the end of
a session.
|
| The leaders of the pack are called Akela (Jayne Bradley),
Raksha (Marian Speedy), Baloo (Ruth Dundas) |
Parents Involvement:
All
parents are asked to join the parent rota. This enables us
to provide a varied supervised programme for the cubs.
Cubs particularly like it when dads help. Younger brothers
and sisters are welcome to come on rota evenings, but they
are not covered by scout insurance unless they are
beavers. If you have any talents or interests that you
could share with cubs (sport, music, drama,
D.I.Y…..)please let us know, thank you.
