Meeting time:
6.15
–
7.30pm on a Wednesday |
Uniform:
At
first either
beaver uniform or dark trousers +
cub jumper (no necker) or plain jumper
. When your son comes up for investment he will need: green cub
sweatshirt, pale blue necker, dark blue combat trousers, black trainers
or shoes. In hot weather there is a green cub polo shirt. |
Badges:
You get
your first
badge when you are invested. The
cub handbook has a list of all the badges that you can work towards.
The whole cub pack sometimes works towards a badge together
. For more details you need to look on the internet at www.scoutbase.org.uk
. If you are interested in working towards a badge or think that you
already may qualify for one (e.g. you have a recognized first aid
qualification) please see a leader at the end of a session.

Parents
Involvement:
All
parents are asked to join the parent rota. This
enables us to provide a varied supervised programme for the cubs. Cubs
particularly like it when Dads help. Younger brothers and sisters are
welcome to come on rota evenings, but they are not covered by scout
insurance unless they are beavers. If you have any talents or interests
that you could share with cubs (sport, music, drama,
DIY…..)please let us know. |
